International graffiti artist and political activist Banksy has been quoted as saying, "The holy grail is to spend less time making the picture than it takes people to look at it." The 2010 movie, "Exit Through the Gift Shop," focuses on the artist and his desire to remain anonymous.I can relate to this approach in so many ways. Like many, my journey to this place in life, has had many ups and downs. Born in Bavaria, Germany I discovered a desire to "create" at an early age.In the 90's I enrolled in acting school in Berlin. It was an amazing place to be, during an amazing time in history for not only Germany, but also my personal growth; the city was exploding with creative people, ideas and talent. No subject or idea was taboo. My creative fuse was lit. I would eventually move to Los Angeles, California, where I continued acting and even tried my hand at stand-up comedy. The former, provided me with opportunities of commercial work, television and moderate success in a highly competitive industry; the latter, well....let's just say this: "I'll leave comedy to Lisa Lampanelli, Kathy Griffin and Pam Ann." Two things happened for me in California that would change my life forever: I fell in love and I found photography.. I studied photography at the OCC in Costa Mesa, California for three years.I no longer seek the spotlight for myself or the fame that several of those closest to me desire. This project, "Me and my idol" is not only an homage to all of the brave and creative performers who dare to chase after their dreams;it's also a platform on which these ladies can express their fabulousness.I hope that you enjoy the ladies as much as I enjoyed capturing them through my lens.

Spooky Places
I am fascinated by abandoned places, ghost towns, empty spaces and things that were left behind. I traveled through California, Oregon and Washington in search of those places.
